McCamey is a great place to call home. We invite new businesses and encourage new citizens to come to our wonderful, small, but friendly town.
McCamey is the Official "WIND ENERGY CAPITAL OF TEXAS". Located in Upton County of West Texas, it is a prime location for the windfarms that have been in operation for several years.
Situated at the intersections of State Highways 67, 305 & 385, midway between Interstate 10 and Interstate 20, McCamey is the logical choice for any business you plan to start.
It's a short, straight drive to two State Universities, two Community Colleges, Major Medical Centers and an International Airport.
The area landscape is quite unique and the sights are worth the trip. If you have never been here, this is the perfect time to come on over. The big Texas sky and West Texas scenery is a great reason to visit but our friendly people and business opportunities are real reasons to stay!
